 Transfer to Muine The scenic 200km drive north on Highway One passes through the bustling city of Bien Hoa before cutting through dense rubber plantations. Closer to Phan Thiet the terrain changes to arid semi-desert with cactus plants and strange looking dragon fruit trees. Arrive in Muine and check into resort. The average temperature is 27C, and the climate is hot and dry for most of the year. |  Phú Quốc (known as Koh Tral by Cambodians) is an island currently administered by Vietnam, although the island is the subject of territorial disputes between Vietnam and Cambodia. It is currently the largest island in Vietnam, part of Kiên Giang province, is also part of an archipelago consisting of 22 islands of all sizes. The island covers an area of 585 km² and is 50 km long. Phú Quốc is also called the Emerald Island because of its natural treasures and high tourism potential. The island is well known for its high-quality fish sauce; Phú Quốc fish sauce smells particularly good since it is made from anchovy- cá cơm, with a high level of protein. The island produces 6 million liters of fish sauce every year. |  Khanh Hoa has been deeply marked by the strong ancient culture of the Cham. Until today, Champa Kingdom has left an invaluable inheritance of ruins and historical sites to visit. Khanh Hoa is endowed with beautiful natural sites and sand beaches. It is just 125 km South-East of Ho Chi Minh. Once this seaside resort was a popular beach destination for French and US service man. Vungtau is one of the most popular sea-side resorts of Vietnam with golden sandy beaches, transparent warm blue water all the year round.
